Google Analytics

Google Analytics is a web analysis service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Google Analytics uses cookies to give the website administrator the opportunity to analyze how users use their site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually forwarded to a Google server in the US and stored there. Google will provide your IP address in the member states of the European Union or in other states that pre-shorten the Agreement to another controller. Only in exceptional cases will the complete IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The IP address that your browser forwards in the context of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data. The stored cookies from Google Analytics are automatically deleted after 14 months.

Marketing services

We use marketing services to deliver attractive offers, from ourselves as well as from third parties. In doing so, we display advertisements through advertising partners or networks that use third-party cookies. These are activated when you visit our website and are only read by the respective advertising partner. We also want to show you advertisements that appeal to you. In order to do this we use retargeting on our website to ensure that the advertisements are tailored according to your interests. Using the cookies that are temporarily stored for this purpose, our retargeting partners are able to recognize visitors on our website under a pseudonym and only show the products that our visitors are interested in.

No personal or sensitive data is stored in the cookies used by our retargeting partner. And the information collected will not be merged with information that allows us to identify our visitors.

These services enable us to:

  • measure the success and divide the advertising resources used between the advertising partners and ourselves;
  • track which ads you've already viewed to prevent you from seeing the same thing over and over again;
  • see the number of page views of our website;
  • follow internal searches;
  • see which product sites have been requested;
  • recognize your login status.

We would like to point out that if these services are switched off for marketing purposes, you will still see advertisements. These advertisements can for example be adapted according to the content on the website. This type of content-related internet advertising is comparable to advertising you see on television - for example, if you watch a program about cooking, you will often see commercials for cooking products in the respective advertising blocks.

We use the following services for marketing purposes: you can disable them by installing an opt-out cookie or following a link:

Facebook 'visitor action pixel'

The 'visitor action pixel' is a tool provided by Facebook Inc., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA. Based on website visits and surfing behavior, we can use this tool to determine target groups for advertising on Facebook, so-called 'Facebook-Ads'. We also use this tool to measure the effectiveness of online marketing. For example, we can track user actions after they've viewed and/or clicked on a Facebook ad and then placed an order.

As soon as you open the website, the pixel is directly integrated by Facebook and a cookie can be stored on your device. If you then log in to Facebook or you are already logged in to Facebook, your website visit will be noted in your profile. The data collected remains anonymous, which means that we cannot see the personal data of individual users, nor link them to other information about a user. However, this data is stored and processed by Facebook so that it's possible for a conclusion to be established on the respective user profile. Data processing by Facebook is carried out in accordance with the Facebook Data Use Policy. If you do not have a Facebook account, this data processing does not apply to you.

Google DoubleClick

Google DoubleClick is a service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Google DoubleClick uses cookies to help you and to display relevant advertisements. An identification number (ID) has been assigned to your browser making it impossible to have information about your identity.

We also use DoubleClick Floodlight cookies for conversion tracking. Floodlight activity stores captured data with a specific Floodlight tag and presents it to all DoubleClick Google products, such as Google Analytics or Google DoubleClick Campaign Manager (DCM). The cookies stored by Google DoubleClick are stored for a maximum of 90 days.
